2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A hint darker than medium gold, with a thin white head. Not much in the nose. The bitterness, while not extreme, stands out more than anything else. A little bit of toast and malt aromas and a little hop citrus. Crisp, but not necessarily watery.
Bottle from Tops. Clear golden coloured. Malty, slightly sweet, bit of vegetable hops. so so. Foxbush (2143) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 13, 2016
12 oz bottle from Tops in Niagara Falls, NY the lager poured a clear amber color with a 3/4 inch head and lacing. The aroma of caramel malts greets you. A pleasant lager with a medium body. Lightly hazy golden yellow body with a foamy white head. The taste has malts over the hops. Very little bitterness noted. Nice lager for ice hockey with average carbonation. Finish was clean with some sweetness at the end. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 13, 2015
Bottle shared at a tasting. Pours a clear copper with a thin fizzy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grainy malt, stone fruits, honey. The taste is bready malt, grain, doughy malt and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness. Tessic (1252) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 24, 2014
This lager poured a golden colour with minimal head. Scents of honey, grass and corn. First swig had medium carbonation with flavours of corn and hops with a nice bitterness lingering. slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 15, 2014
"an above average lager, but they had better beers...most noticeably the double bock. Anywho, this was what you’d expect from a micro lager. higher quality than the macro crap, but kinda boring."

It had an interesting hazy appearance with lively visible carbonation and a deep or old gold color. The head builds up big, thick and foamy. It has a light creamy tan color with some speckles of brown yeast sediment from the bottle. The aroma has hints of floral and earthy hops and yeast. The flavor has pleasant light bready malt presence with an earthy yeast character. Also there is a slightly astringent hint of green apple and mild hops that adds a nice balance of bitterness. The hop flavor fades off nicely into the semi-dry finish. Its carbonation is good and lively with a slick easy drinking texture and light to medium body berkshirejohn (6771) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2014
12oz bottle from Wegman’s, Buffalo, NY. A golden amber pour with the fainest possible ring of white head; malty aroma; malty taste; with a sourness to finish. Very uninspiring stuff. Darkmagus82 (2303) - - MAY 26, 2014
Transfer from BA review on 4-11-12 -
Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a deep golden color with a medium white head of large carbonation bubbles. The head faded over time to give very little lacing.
Smell – Sweet caramel is the most potent and is mixed with a bit of corn aroma.
Taste – The taste matched the smell quite well. There is a caramel taste mixed with a corn and bready malt backbone. The flavor is quite one-dimensional and remains relatively consistent throughout the taste.
Mouthfeel – Very standard lager mouthfeel. A bit below average in terms of body with a slightly higher then normal carbonation level.
Overall –A very standard lager.

12 oz bottle. Nice head and golden, somewhat cloudy appearance. Tastes a little flat, almost metallic. The longer I drink it, the less I like it. Definitely not reaching for a second.
