Not bad for an amber but I would stack this against any American beers trying to replicate authentic European flavor. Definitely tastes like a "Vienna style" beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2017 I’m rating this so high because of its ease of drinkability. This is no doubt an easy drinking session beer. It’s not too exciting but very drinkable and I could enjoy this all day long. A smooth amber style beer. I’d definitely try this one again.

APPEARANCE- Light amber color, perfectly clear. Nice white head with great lacing. NOSE- light scent of malt, no discernible hoppiness. FLAVOR- very slightly bitter, but no other note of hop in this beer. Smooth drinking and light body is well suited for this type of lager.

Bottle in Buffalo. Says amber lager on bottle. Tastes fine. Nothing outstanding but worked well with wings.

Bottle. Tastes like bready malt, some dried fruits, nutty, and light booze. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like bready malt, dried fruits, nutty, and light booze.

More like an amber lager it was fine to drink. Enjoyably at all features and quite strong in some moments too.

Amber color with a thin off white head. Big malty nose. Flavors of dark brown sugar, malt syrup, and some dark toast. Like most ambers, its a pretty generic beer. Nothing wrong, but nothing interesting.

Draft at UM at Canal Side. I’ve had this before, but never rated it. Wasn’t much craft selection there so I had to go with this. Pours a dark clear amber with small bubbly tan head. Aroma isn’t much. Some caramel, brown sugar, bread. Flavor was the same as the nose. Lager yeast notes. Body was light and thin texture. Average carbonation. Not very good at all.

Rated based on notes taken 9 Jun 2012 -- A standard Amber, nothing of special note.

Bottle at home. Aroma is caramel malts with a bit of turpentine. Pretty basic flavor profile... malt heavy, dry crisp finish, zero complexity. Passable at best but one is plenty, thank you.
