Bottle from beer of the month club. A nice amber pour with an off white head that had some retention but no lace. A slightly watery appearance. Aroma had nice caramel malts upfront combined with a nice nuttiness. Some mild floral hops. Flavor initially had some nice sweet malt notes upfront and a delicate bit from the hops. Aftertaste had almost an astringent note to it that took away from the beer. Smooth finish. A decent beer ruined by the aftertaste.

Bottle at the October DC Ratebeer tasting. Thanks radagast83! Clear golden amber with off-white head. Aromas of malt, corn. Tastes of malt and corn. Light body with a dry finish.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2017 Got this in a beer of the month club my parents got for me. Really good Vienna style lager. Good malt taste and nice color. If I ever see this at my local beer distributor I would buy it.

Not bad for an amber but I would stack this against any American beers trying to replicate authentic European flavor. Definitely tastes like a "Vienna style" beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2017 I'm rating this so high because of its ease of drinkability. This is no doubt an easy drinking session beer. It's not too exciting but very drinkable and I could enjoy this all day long. A smooth amber style beer. I'd definitely try this one again.

APPEARANCE- Light amber color, perfectly clear. Nice white head with great lacing. NOSE- light scent of malt, no discernible hoppiness. FLAVOR- very slightly bitter, but no other note of hop in this beer. Smooth drinking and light body is well suited for this type of lager.

Bottle in Buffalo. Says amber lager on bottle. Tastes fine. Nothing outstanding but worked well with wings.
