Dark reddish brown colour with small tan head.
Liquorice, roasted malt, cough drops and grassy hops in aroma.
Roasted malt, hoppy bitterness and liquorice in rich flavour.
Nice palate. Enjoyable.

Dark roasted malty and solid grapefruity to peachy hoppy. smooth fruity and crisp hoppy mixed with a dark malty note. Solid bitter and dry yet also crisp fruity finish.

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 5, 2012On tap. Pours an opaque black with a creamy beige head leaving a dense lacework. The nose is primarily hard roast malts with the hops adding an aromatic edge. Medium body, again the hard roast dominates with a whiff of pleasant aroma hops. Dry but not overly hoppy finish. More of a hoppy Stout than a Black IPA. But still very enjoyable. 040312
faroeviking (11569) - Nadando en el mar de las chellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAR 4, 2012Chopp. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma of roasty like malt and hops. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has roasty malt along with some chocolate and bitter hops. Bitter finish. More black than ipa..... but tasty brew.
