On tap. Pours an opaque black with a creamy beige head leaving a dense lacework. The nose is primarily hard roast malts with the hops adding an aromatic edge. Medium body, again the hard roast dominates with a whiff of pleasant aroma hops. Dry but not overly hoppy finish. More of a hoppy Stout than a Black IPA. But still very enjoyable. 040312 faroeviking (11389) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAR 4, 2012
Chopp. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma of roasty like malt and hops. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has roasty malt along with some chocolate and bitter hops. Bitter finish. More black than ipa..... but tasty brew.
