Written rating at Copenhagen Beerfest.
Pours a dark, hazy and almost opaque brown with a thin beige head. The aroma has tons of caramel, hazelnuts and brown sugar notes with the stylistic notes of prune and raisins. The flavour profile is mildly sweet with a bit of bitterness towards the finish. Light dark fruity notes with esters and mild yeast notes. The finish is warm and a bit bitter. Overall, a bit of a boring quad. aleksander9 (1897) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 19, 2014

Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, brown sugar, dried fruits, alcohol and hint of oak. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long fruity, warm and yeast finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap at Sandar. An unclear light brown beer with a small, dense beige head. A bit alcoholic aroma, nailpolish remover hints, dried fruits, berry hints and caramel notes. It’s full bodied and warming with a nice carbonation level. Caramel, raisins, a balancing bitterness and some alcohol in the flavor. Caramel and warming notes in the end. Quite sweet. Too warming this one, but there’s certainly qualities. 140216 Pyrmir (6210) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - DEC 7, 2013
