Pours a murky chestnut color with a medium off white head...decent lacing. Aroma has mild woody/earthy notes and dark fruits...raisin. flavor has caramel and brown sugar, some raisin, earthy/woody hop notes...a balancing earthy bitterness cuts through the sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is earthy/roasty and almost burnt bitter...dry and lingering. BeerandBlues2 (13813) - Escondido, California, USA - OCT 5, 2013

This beer was muddy and cloudy brown. It had a strange roasted taste that was neither bad nor good. Don’t really have anything to compare it to. I’m guessing it was very mild and low in alcohol. Travlr (26071) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 13, 2013
