UPDATED: JAN 4, 2013 Saw this in the store, interest was peaked with the "zero IBU IPA" claim. Bottle into pint glass, hazy gold color with white head. Aroma of mixed herbs (oregano, pepper and ginger mainly) and very light citrus background. Taste doesnt add surprisingly much, peppery and cardboard mainly. Light body and thin, no real aftertaste. The aroma of this is very interesting, the taste though didnt come through. So so.

Bottle @ home, more than 2,5 years after bb date. Clear copper color. No head. Aromas; spices , sweet, fruity, confit. Retronasal the same. Lots of spices, but hard to discover which. Flavor is moderate sweet, spices, sweet fruit. Medium bodied. Still enough carbonation. Not much of an aftertaste. Actually still quite nice, as a dessert beer, but a sample size glass is enough.

Bottle at BeerTemple. Hazy orange body with slight head. Spicy and grassy nose. Taste is hoppy, spicy, funky. Lots of herbs and grains. Sweetens into the finish. Okay.

Bottled (backlog). Hazy orangeish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, spruce, berries, some sour wood and spices. Flavour is quite similar with a surprisingly watery palate.

THOUGHTS: Very interesting. Not bad either, as a stand alone beer but it was an awful IPA. Smelled a lot like a grapefruit. The flavor was almost like fruit juice. It smelled and tasted like it shouldve been bitter but it wasnt. TECHNICAL: Drank 3/2/2013. Bottle. Poured a murky, dark, slightly brownish orange with a small, off-white head that fully diminished and left virtually no lacing. The aroma didnt have many beer smells. There was light gain and caramel; and odd herbal tea; something very much like grapefruit; sort of fruity; and something artificial. The initial flavor was moderately sweet, lightly acidic and slightly bitter; while the finish was mod sweet and slightly bitter. There was caramel, some odd grapefruit flavor that wasnt bitter; herbal tea with sweetener, and something artificial. The medium body was fairly oily with fizzy carbonation and an ever-so-slight metallic finish.

P flaska @ Printz. Mrk brnstensfrgad. Luktar svagt blommigt. Smakar svagt av peppar. En svag eftersmak av beska.

Memory banks rate - and as I recall, better than the Brewdog version, more ginger, less medicinal. Drinkable, if not entirely fun.

Ins Glas ergiet sich ein dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht rstmalzig, Karamell, Gewrze. Geschmack ebenfalls leicht rstmalzig, Karamell, fruchtig, Gewrze.

Very shorts beige head. The bottle contains big Flames of debrie that floats around in the glass. Strange aroma of orange-cola soft-drink. Sweet taste and much caramell. Tvist must be One of the sotar beers theese two excellent brewes have made.
