At this point of the tasting, all of the beers started to blend together. Nothing too distinctive about this beer, but OK. slowrunner77 (13203) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAR 5, 2016
Dark and chocolate malts, with light smoke and peppers on the nose. Flavor is a little spicier and is smooth for what this is. They’re up and down, but this was nice. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - FEB 26, 2016
Bottle from Perfect Pour. Really, golden dark brown body with thin, tan head. Nose is spicy, peppery, really nice. Taste is spicy for sure, some matls and caramel, but spicy peppers and roots overpower the flavor. Would love to try this with a nice Mexican dish. teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - AUG 30, 2013
Keg at BD Shoreditch as "Chipotle Brown Ale 10%". It pours a black colour with a small brown head. Aroma of smoke. Flavor is smoke and a strong and sharp hop bitterness at the end. Heat is there at the end and is subtle, but increases as you drink the beer with just the right amount of spice at the end. Creamy mouthfeel. Good one. Keg at BrewDog Shoreditch - London. So I am not positive this is the proper entry; beer is written as ’Flying Dog Chipotle Brown Ale 10%’. Pours dark but clear red-brown with a moderate, creamy tan head. Sugary dark malt nose, hints of dark, piney hops. Medium to big sweet flavor, some dark bread, cocoa, faint roast, light bitterness. Medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. The pepper heat hits in the finish. It is a decent burn but not overpowering. There is a bit more light cocoa, faint burnt pine. The flavor is actually pretty wimpy given the ABV, and the palate is a bit thin. Ao so overall.

I love these beers infused with Chilis and heat. This was a nice thick stout with a chipotle backing. Very strong and not for everyone. I liked the mole stout i had from Church Breworks and this is comparative. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 20, 2013
This one poured a medium brown with a beige head. Aroma was of light chilies, medium roast, and light green herbal hops. Flavor was a nice blend of bitterness between light chili heat, some earthy hops, and medium roast with light choclate in the back to balance it out. Nice stuff. Tap at Rustico. Pours clear black with a large, creamy off-white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is chipotle peppers, pine, resin, and grapefruit hops with roast malt. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness with supporting malt, dark fruity esters, spicy chipotle peppers and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. Nate (4296) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 13, 2013
On tap at the Knick. Mild chocolate nose, roasted and slightly burnt malt. A hint of earthy-fruity-smoky chipotle with no discernible hop presence. Dark rusty red-brown opaque with creamy light tan lacing head. Medium watery body with vigorous carbonation. Nice dry porter to start, with light carbonic bite, a hint of heat. Earthy and fruity pepper character. Chocolate and roasted malt, light hop bitterness with smooth peppery bitter after. MadRobin (2989) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - FEB 27, 2013
On tap half pint at Gilly's Craft Beer & Wine in Rockville, MD.
Opaque, very dark brown with tan head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of roasted malt, hot peppers, raisins and chocolate.
Taste of roasted malt, spicy chipotle peppers, chocolate and sweet dark fruit. Lots of chipotle flavor but not too much fire. The hot pepper burn comes through at the finish, after you have enjoyed the other flavors.
Medium body and medium carbonation.
