Sampled on draft in a neighborhood restaurant. A classic amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is mostly of light citrus hops, with a slight malt presence. Flavor was somewhat bitter, perhaps slightly sour. The texture was somewhat thin and the body was on the light side. Not a very distinctive ale, but got the job done.

An amber beer, with a white, creamy and fast disappearing head, that leaves some laces on the glass. The aroma is very good, aromatic, with the Cascade hops that gives citrusy notes (especially grapefruit). Also the flavour is hoppy, with a soft mouthfeel, bitter, but not overly, and a pleasant citrusy aftertaste. A satisfacting and easy drinking american pale ale. Suggested. A good beer if you want to start to know how is American beer.

Yellow pour with a slightly reddish hue. Some hop flavoring. A good all-around casual drinking beer.

Copper pour with fizzzy, thin head. Nice mild bitter taste, great lingering taste for a true pale.

12 oz bottle. Pours copper with very thin head. Nice hops aroma. Light hops, citrus and spice flavors. Hop flavor is what lingers after the rest.

On tap at the Broadway Brewhouse & Mojo Grille (Downtown), Nashville, Tennessee. Poured dark honey, with a rocky, tan head. Nose is hops and citrus and flavor is spice and citrus with a slight floral note. A nice hop bite to the finish.

Aroma of citrus and pine and malt. Pleasant. Golden amber color with smallish white head. It starts with an amazing mix of apricot and exotic fruit. It’s a bit light on hop, and some pepper intrudes in the middle. Barring the absence of mango, it reminds of Virgin Islands Pale Ale - but don’t take that seriously. Doggie style is way beyond that stuff.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2007 poured a dark orange hue with an almost non existent white head. has a small hoppy smell and light body. this has a sweet light hoppy tatse but was expecting a little more. also has a small pine smell and taste as well. pretty smooth no after taste not bad but not good for an apa rather have a sierra nevada.

This IPA pours a dark orange with a nice silky foam head. To the nose you can get immediate scents of citrus. Oranges, apricots and some grassy notes. First taste was alot like the scent with the citrus but thistime with a nice hoppy bite to it. The finnish was a little bitter with a hoppy palate at the end.

Not a bad Pale Ale, but compared to others in the class it falls short. The hops are a bit subdued by the malt sweetness to a fault.
