Bottle. Amber/brown. Where’s my grapefruit knife? Mild, almost no tannin on the tongue. Hoppity-hop. Nice. A toned down version of it’s IPA sibling. $9/sixer in East Boca

Pours a clear amber with a fair sized head. Great hoppy grapefruit aroma and a crisp refreshing citrus type flavor. This was a good one.

UPDATED: FEB 29, 2008 Bottle. Very nice hoppy aroma, sweet and fresh. Seems intensely dry-hopped. Clear chestnut colour. Small head. Nicely malty flavour. Mild, but flavourful. Nice aroma hops, fruity and refreshing. 7 3 7 3 17

Bottle, 4.7%. Caramelly hop aroma, also grassy. The flavour is hoppy, ending on a fresh menthol note. Good bitterness, uncompromising yet clean. 7 3 6 3 13

jmuhops (669) - Winchester, Virginia, USA - JUL 29, 2006
Pours amber with a one-finger white head. Spicy hop aroma. Light maltiness in the flavor before a soapy, piney hoppiness. Neither exists in any large amount. Quick finish.

rederic (3337) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2006
Amber color, with a small beige head, with acaramelized malt, floral hop, citrus fruitiness note, with some piney, cedary aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with a juicy piney hop character, earthy malt accent, toffeeish note, coniferous flowery hop pleasureness, leading towards a hop bitterring finish.

cazort (565) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 24, 2006
A bit bland, but not thin. In spite of not being too thin, the malt is also not too heavy the way it is in a number of American brews. There is a nice bite of bitterness. Overall, this is a mild beer, but a quality one: the hops taste nice. It was very crisp and refreshing. I certainly enjoyed it.

Noth as much hops and dryness as I prefer yet I am a sucker for pale ale and just love the labels.
