a nice hoppy APA. might be a little too sweet and hoppy for my tastes, but still a solid beer. AMber with a nice head and little noticable carbonation. A lack of malt keeps it from excelling.

Nice white head on a golden/amber body. Crystal clear. Great hoppy aroma. Nice clean mouthfeel. Plenty of hop character without going overboard. Tons of lacing. Went extremely well with some grilled tandoori lamb. I could drink a few of these in an evening.

Amber with an off-white head. The aroma prepares you for good things. Intense hoppy citrus nose. But the taste doesn’t come through. Weak and watery and very bland. It’s surprising that its ratings are this high.

Gorgeous copper coloring - this is as attractive a APA as I can remember. Cascade hops are readily apparent in the nose but the hops kick is not as strong as might be expected. Of course I’m drinking this after finishing off an DFH 90 minute IPA so my taste buds may be out of whack. A good and easy-drinking APA but not one of the best

Bottle. Deep copper, frothy head for a PA. Grassy hops, lasting aftertaste, bitter but not overmuch. Pretty good.

A haiku... Finally, good beer. From a brewery that stinks, This one is solid.

The head didn’t stick around too long, but it was nice while it lasted. The colour is a nice amber. The taste was very good, well balanced with a good hop character. Very enjoyable session beer.

Perfect aroma and appearancee, although the head is disappointing. Taste doesn’t live up to the appearancec but is a good APA nonetheless. Flying Dog’s flagship is a pleasant and drinkable ale.

11.06.04 A decently done APA. I didn’t expect loads from this and didn’t get loads from it. Good session brew though

Sweet smelling and hoppy. Good name for a beer and crazy bottle design. Nice flavor. Another decent brew from Flying Dog.
