COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Straw in color with a subtle citrus aroma, Flying Dogs limited-edition Fresh Hop Ale has a solid malt backbone that balances perfectly with intense hop bitterness. The fresh Cascade hops used were grown a mere 20 miles away from the brewery and used within 12 hours of the harvest. With a nice, clean finish, its the perfect beer to sip after a long day working on the farm (or a long day dreaming about owning one).

Tap @ Pizza Port OB. Pours a clear golden yellow with a small bubbly white head. Lightly hopped nose with some cereal grain in the mix. Not really fair for me to rate this beer right after I tried a 9.5% double red....

Golden pour with big white head. bready malt nose with underlying grassy hops. bitter middle and skunky resiny dry finish. You only got the wet hops in the back palate and otherwise tasted like a generic amber. Not bad but not great either

Draft. Sampled at MN Autumn Brew Review. Poured a clear amber golden color with a slight white head. The nose was surprisingly non existant to be honest. Only a slight hop presence. The taste was more like a very subdued pale ale in that I expected a strong hop presence but there is none. The taste is just slightly sweet up front with a tiny little hop bite. Wheres the hops?! I had my sample but was not going back for another round of this one. Medium/light mouthfeel.

Draft at Mahaffeys, shared with steptin. Golden color, thick white head. Aroma of wet grass and citrus. Taste has bright lemon lime and grass. Refreshing, straightforward and mellow.

Shared with Travlr in Mahaffeys. On tap. Golden color with thin-to-no head that sticks to the sides of the glass. Nice easy citrus and hops in the nose. Smells fresh. The taste is more ofthe same with added bitterness that lingers on the back of the tongue. A mild alcohol flavor finds its way into the aftertaste.
