COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like Hunter S. Thompson...Gonzo Imperial Porter is deep and complex. This turbo charged version of the Road Dog Porter is mysteriously dark with a rich malty body, intense roasted flavors, and a surprisingly unique hop kick. With Gonzo weighing in at 9.2% ABV, it will bite you in the ass if you don’t show it the proper respect. IBU’s: 85

35cl bottle, snifter. Pours a huge, creamy, frothy and dark beige head, full black appearance. Smells sweet roasted, licorice, aromatic hops, with some hints of wood and vanilla. Tastes huge cocoa, mellow espresso, caramel, light smoked, with some delicate citrus notes. Medium to high sweetness and medium bitterness, balanced but a bit more on the sweet side, strong sweet and roasted malty character but with a balancing fresh hop profile. Medium bodied, creamy, moderate carbonation, semi dry and light smoked finish. This would be a perfect match with some italian "scorzette d’arancia", which are candied orange stripes covered in dark chocolate (with the peel), chocolatey and citrusy. Gets better as it reaches room temperature, feels half way between a porter and a black IPA, nice one.

Piana średnio oczkowa, spora i średnio trwała. Barwa prawie czarna, nieprzejrzysta, z brązowymi refleksami. Aromat to kompilacja ciemnych słodów i chmielu - czekolada, prażone ziarno i żywica. W smaku półsłodkie, analogicznie jak w zapachu, dodatkowo prażony karmel, sypkie kakao, lekka popiołowość i pikantność w posmaku. Goryczka średnia do niskiej, ziołowo palono żywiczna.

Bottle. Black with medium brown head. Aroma is simple, but pleasant - chocolate and pralines, some fruity tones, mostly plums Taste is bitter, semi-dry. Again chocolate and pralines, alcohol, touch of coffee and fruits. Full body, low carbonation. Strange alcohol taste in finish.
Good, it’s for slow drinking sip by sip.

Rica y dura.
