Pours a nice dark Amber. Clear rather than cloudy. Wheat and hints of banana. Makes me wish I had some banana bread because it would pair amazingly. Almost 8% but hides it well. Solid beer.

12 oz bottle poured into a Flying Dog goblet/tulip. Best by 3/5/2015. Hazy orange with almost two fingers of off-white head. Aromas of wheat, caramel, yeast, a little banana and stone fruit. Tastes of wheat, sweet citrus, caramel, yeast, herbs and spice. A bit too cloyingly sweet. Medium-light body with a dry finish. gripweed57 (2978) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - FEB 13, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Cloudy amber orange. Moderate creamy beige head. Fresh wheat malt nose has the obligatory clove character. Yeasty wheat oomph upfront. Spicy citrus , banana and more clove with a noticeable alcohol presence. Very Bavarian-like, but more potent. Good job! jcos (1855) - Maryland, USA - DEC 24, 2014
Growler from Dave through Junto Society. A hefe on steroid, this beer has a nice wheat flavor, light banana and lots of power behind it. Tasty. bigguns22 (806) - Maryland, USA - DEC 4, 2014
This is my favorite beer of the 4 otterbeins cookie beers. Pour is caramel in color with a thin quickly disapating white head. Aroma yeasty, spicy and malts. A pretty full flavor beer with clove and lite citrus notes feels a little peppery on taste buds.

Bottle from Holiday Collection into pint glass, cloudy amber-hued golden color with creamy white head. Aroma of banana, clove, bubblegum, wheat malt and general yeastiness. Taste adds notes of bread, orange/lemon citrus and faint spices. Medium-light body, low carbonation, soft with fruity yeast finish. This is pretty much their In Heat Wheat amped, sweeter but hides the nearly double ABV well. dliberto (217) - Hampstead, Maryland, USA - NOV 9, 2014
Poured from the bottle into a snifter. Pours a cloudy golden orange with an inch thick foamy white head. Aroma consists of bread, orange, banana, clove, and yeast. Taste is a banana bomb with the yeast coming through on the back end. Very sweet beer that is medium bodied with heavy carbonation and a sticky mouth feel. I am not a big fan of this style, but it still is a well done beer. scottw86 (1180) - Maryland, USA - NOV 9, 2014
Poured a very hazy orange color with a large off-white head that faded quickly. Aroma has lots of banana and orange with some slightly tart notes. Taste is crisp and sweet with lots of orange and banana. Slightly more full bodied than I expected. Lots of carbonation and a touch of cardboard. Very creamy and the alcohol is hidden very well. Overall not bad! mjakopa (268) - Maribor, SLOVENIA - OCT 15, 2012
Pours a nice darker yellow colour with some head but it dissipates quickly. Aroma is malty with some floral hops and hints of caramel. Taste is on the sweeter side but after a while it quickly lacks carbonation. Finishes of with hints of hops but fades quickly. pras (602) - Maryland, USA - JUN 11, 2012
Draft at the brewery. I am not a big hef fan and don’t think this beer really fits the style. It tasted just like a good hef, but the alcohol was a little bit much for me. Can’t argue with trying to do this style, just didn’t do it for me.
