12 oz. Bottle. Ohhhh, grassy pine yumminess. Like a Dogfish 90 Minute that’s been sedated and refocussed. Grassy perfume scent with an astringent quality on the finish. Burnt orange pour, bronze middle, with a white head to ring. Medium bodied, silky feel with a fizz here and there. Grassy pine flavor to perfume to a bitter finish. placey07 (1) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 28, 2012 does not count
Smelled delicious as soon as I popped off the cap. I poured it into a glass to enjoy it properly and get the full aroma. Nice amber color, very light and airy white foam on top. Very bitter taste. It has a strong sweet note when it hits the tip of your tongue, and a bitter finish on the way down, yet still smooth. Very strong at 10% ABV and got me buzzed rather quickly. On the Eighth Day of Christmas the beer Gods gave to me... one strong hoppy brew. Pours a orange amber color with a white foam head. Aroma of grapefruit, earthiness and some caramel underneath. Has a sweet citrus taste with a nice earthy hop hit and a sticky finish. Very nice. jredmond (8285) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Draft at blind tiger with Andrew, Brendan and Maggi. Maggi is clearing out this bar quicker than usual with his loud mouth. Pours a lightly amber golden body with white lacing. Aroma is fresh bitter pine and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is nice, fresh with notes of bitter citrus and light pine. Light soapiness. GSH1976 (307) - Delaware, USA - DEC 20, 2012
The appearance is clear with an orangish hue and little head. The aroma is a combination of citrus, caramel and spice. There miht be some subtle floral and pine notes as well. Taste is a little sweet at first but then turns bitter with a lingering finish. The body is medium and a little chewy. You can tell the alcohol is there but it is under control. I preferred the Flying Dog Chinook Single Hop but this is still good stuff.

12oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, pine, and citrus. Tastes of floral hops, citrus, toasted caramel, and fruity. Nice and hoppy with the alcohol content overall well hidden. sloth (2906) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - DEC 17, 2012
Lovely brew. Thin white head and some skimpy, lasting lace. Bright, copper hued ale. Lovely, spicy, piney, citrusy, fruity and resiny nose. Body is tame for the abv. but really mouthwatering and juicy. Lotsa hops, earthy and fruity, fairly bodacious with a mild malt backing, just the ways i like,m! Groovily fruity, tropical finish with a lesser than expected bite but still very nice indeed. Bottle from statelineliquors. DocLock (10689) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 13, 2012
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours clear dark straw with 1-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is huge piney Centennial hops, caramel malt. Tastes resiny, tannic, with overall astringency, caramel malt, heavy IBUs, and a smooth and dense mouthfeel. Sammy (12205) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 8, 2012
A good hoppy beer, recent purchase from Capone’s. Very orange citrus, up front hops, yet not a palate eraser. The malt adds to the taste. Good drinkability, above average mouthfeel. Orange coloured body. Nice hop aroma. Iphonephan (6988) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - DEC 8, 2012
From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Citrus and pine nose. Spruce and grapefruit up front finishing off with a bitter alfalfa note.
