This is a double ipa? Weak version at best. Decent brew at best, light all around. I was surprised it is 10%abv. Taste more like a pale ale. rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 1, 2013
Bottle at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Clear golden/copper beer with a rich lasting beige/yellowish beer. Hoppy fruity, somewhat spicy aroma, caramel, citrus, grapes, floral, pine apples, toffee notes, herbal notes. Hoppy fruity flavor, grassy, pine apples, floral, citrus, grassy, lovely body and with alcohol very well hidden. Fruity floral hop finish with citrus. Top-class beer. (Bottle). Aroma is reminiscent of B.O. Otherwise nice golden complexion with thick white head. Nice piney and grapefruit hops with understated alcohol. Well done.

Poured a light amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of sweet pine and citrus. Medium body, flavour of bitter hops and spice, quite bitter and not as sweet as the aroma promised. Bitter end. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUN 28, 2013
Bottle @ home. Aroma is huge citra and other fruity notes, touch of grass. Flavour is medium bitterness with a big fruity citra explosion. Some caramel malt and more citra in the finish. Nice but missing that edge.

Somewhat headless cap on the expected gold color. Stinky Citra, salt air, and hints of yogurt. Excitingly spicy in flavor, very much so - one of the better uses of Citra I’ve had, with an appreciable lack of residual sweetness that the hop often allows to come through. oRos (1675) - sacramento, California, USA - JUN 27, 2013
On tap at capitol beer and taproom. Taste is slightly sweet and has a bitter malt aftertaste. whicheck (82) - California, USA - JUN 27, 2013
Nive gold clean gold color. Citra aroma was more mellow then you might think. Nice clean hot flavor with the malt just givimg it a good balance. Very good clean tasting ale. 3fourths (9332) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 24, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2013 Bottle. Lightly hazed golden amber body with a fine white head. I swear what I get most of with this hop is tropical fruit bubble gum. Banana liqueur comes to mind given the alcohol. Immensely fruity and sugary smelling. I know the nose can not sense sweetness level. The nose can recognize well-enough the signatures of high sugar content from the stew-y malt. You’ve got your rotting pear and apple esters mixed with your diesel-smelling fusel alcohols to create a sort of hooch character that’s rare to find outside of malt liquor. In this case you have the added bonus of fucking hops all in your face. So here’s some stupidly bitter absinthe astringency and some of that fennel / anise herb flavor to go with it. But that’s not all, because we’re also throwing in a watery body with a boozy film coating and lingering flavors of apple + shallot mouthwash. MrHangover (4442) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUN 24, 2013
Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange beer with a minimal amount of slightly beige head on top. Aroma is hoppy, but the citra does not stand out. A shame, since I really like the citra hop. Flavour is quite bitter and citrussy, with a slight hint of some alcoholic sweetness. Alchohol is hard to detect, but noticeable after drinking. Dry, medium long finish, quite a nice beer, but it’s missing the citra in my humble opinion. Could be an old bottle, but for the hop character to fade completely, it has to be very old...
