COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
While that damn Dionysus was taking all the glory, Simcoe, Greek God of Beer and Relaxation, was out, diligently developing tools for man to brew- fresh grain and hops, active yeast, and bountiful water. With its golden glow and sharp hop bite, our Imperial Single Hop IPA is a tribute to this lesser-known God (and as temple-worthy as its namesake).

Lätt skum, något dovare sötare doft än vad jag väntat. Kraftig och frisk första-smak. Alkoholen slår aldrig igenom i smaken. Behaglig och balanserad eftersmak.

Bottled from Systembolaget Hazy golden eight a small, white head. Rather light and vinous aroma. Sweet, grassy hoppiness with salmiak and liquorice. Medium bitterness.

33 cl bottle from systembolaget bs. Strong, stingy, not that smooth. Nice hoppy, fruity flavour, but the alcohol hits through.

A sharp, well hopped, fruity fragrance. I’m not quite to the taste. Bitterness takes over much of the flavor rather quickly. Aftertaste is having a hard bitterness that remains long in the upper part of the mouth. If you like very bitter, this is a beer for you. For me, I’m not sure. Can be a little too much bitterness unfortunately. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2015 To start with, the aroma is great, smells like a bomb of floral pineapple, orange and grapefruit, the pour is very promising, clear lightly amber with a thick head. Taste is a bit disappointing from the very promising aroma, tropical fruit is heavily toned down and instead a malty caramel and more of a piney hop taste,to me way too much alcohol forward and malty. Mouthfeel is great.

Bottle, 355ml - Clear orange amber beer with a large off white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of citrus, pine needles, oranges and toffee. Flavor is fruity with notes of pine needles, citrus, spices and caramel. The alcohol bite is a bit too large but the mouthfeel is great.

This one made me cry. Not sure why though. It wasn’t astounding but it wasn’t terrible. It was comfortable like my mother’s teat. It needed a bit more punch but I think it was much better than piss.
