12oz bottle. Pours hazy orange/gold with big white head and plenty of lacing. Aroma is of grapefruit, lemon and orange zest, complex notes from the funky saison yeast. Taste is a decent balance of funky barnyard notes (nothing too out-there though), grapefruit, and herb notes. Nice lasting citrus and funky bitterness in the aftertaste. A really tasty concoction, always wanted to try a Belgian-style saison with big American hops - lives up to expectations.

fresh malts and raisins, later on some caramel spicy hops and bread... sour sweet with a bitter finish.... very lively!

hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Draft… Clear yellow ale with a small, foamy, white head. Great retention. The nose offers musky hops, fruity esters and citrusy funk. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with modest carbonation. The flavor leans just a hair toward the bitter side, but is quite nicely balanced for the style. Lingering banana and pear finish.

Tmoney99 (14964) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Draft. Poured a hazy yellow color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrushop, herbs and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

Draft at Imbibe Wine. Nose is pine resins and floral with a light touch of horseblanket. Lightly hazy yellow orange with a big offwhite head. Flavor is bitter, a touch of pine and funk.

Bottle from bierzwerg.de. Golden color with small white head. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, yeast. Taste, nice bitter with floral hops, light tartness in background. Spicy bitter finish. Very tasty beer.

2.9
gururyan (728) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Pours like a typical unfiltered farmhouse but with a hoppy nose. Tastes more like a watered down saison. Finish is quite tart. Regretting getting a sixer.
