Aroma of gum, light pepper and citrus. Appearance is gold with white head. Flavor matches the nose with a dry citrus finish. Palate is very bubbly, fluffy and lively. Good; thanks to Dfab for the sample. Arayaga2 (2221) - portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Unfiltered hazy gold with 2" of white head. Aroma is very saison with ginger, clove and a bit of sulfur over top of a mild hop buzz. Taste is that, plus a rather lemony hop note right off the bat, and pithy bitterness and graham crackery malt into the finish. $3/12oz cheap (6085) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Very nice floral aroma and attractive presentation in the glass, coudy pale beer with a rocky head. First taste is freshly bitter. Really shows its alky content. Volatile finish, almost. Dull citrus unsweetened blast. idedek (157) - USA - JUN 6, 2012
a nice citrus aroma. the nice light flavors that a saison should have with a nice light hoppy finish. MrBunn (2848) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with lots of active carbonation, but a head that dies down from fairly massive to a thin film in short order, leaving suds sticking to the side of the glass. Aromas are mostly spicy, with a little edge of oranges, honey and grass. Flavor is an interesting mix... kind of peppery and sweet... like a honey orange glaze with white pepper thrown in or something. I would never go so far as to put "IPA" on the label if this were my beer, but it’s pretty decent for an "Americanized" Saison.

Bottle. Musty lemon, coriander and malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with giant white head. Musty-sweet lemon malt, coriander and orange peel hops flavor. Didn’t know how this would work out but was very nice - tasty. 17thfloor (2444) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2012
I really enjoyed this beer. Great balance, super tasty, quite refreshing, must revisit. Impressed. FatPhil (17077) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 5, 2012

Rich hayey orange, small tight off-white head. Wohhhh, totally authentic saison aroma, this really could come from belgium. Lovely dry noble hops, bready grains. Super crisp palate, dry to the n-th degree, again. Alas, there’s frequent wafts of alcohol. It’s so dry that the alcohol stands out. Previous stringer beers hid it behind sugar, Better than your average saison. And that includes many a Belgian. If it wasn’t for the alcohol this would be a stunner. It’s farmhousey, yest, but not in an eco way, or a funky way, or a sweaty horse way, or a pooey way. This is a classy brew. One of the few American beers that’s actually emulated the original stye very well.
12oz bottle poured into a snifter..
Pleasantly Surprised by the Belgium yeast aroma with some spice hints!
Good carbonation, grassy and funky. BenH (3434) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 4, 2012
Bottle. Light golden with relentless big white head. Belgian yeast yeas comes through pretty hard on the aroma but the spiciness and fruity eaters work well with the citrusy American hops. Taste is the same, light spicy yeast with some citrus and a slightly herbal edge. Very foamy in the mouth. Nice bitter finish. Quite nice
