Orange haze color. Nice foam. Aromas reminds you belgian, saison and in general lots of wild yeast. Taste is strong and full, with a weird bitterness in aftertaste. Once you get used to it, its a lovely beer.

A slightly cloudy, orange beer with a big, handsome and blond head. Aroma is very complex, interesting and aromatic, fruits, some sweet tropical fruits, spicyness, some sourness, hint of marshmallows; the unique and excellent aroma. Taste is quite dry, fruitfull, medium bitterness, sourness and some peppers. Medium bodied, lots of smooth carbonation. Complex and very succesfull beer, that surprises with originality, not very saison.

355ml bottle, BBE 02/2013. Poured hazy golden with a white, thick head, lacing. Great looking. Spicy aroma, orange and maybe coriander, yeast and citrus. Lovely. Flavor has bitter hops, orange and citrus. Mouth-drying finish. Excellent, fresh and crisp, medium to full bodied.

Had this on tap at Max’s in Baltimore, which came as a very welcomed surprise since I have been to In de Wildeman in Amsterdam before. Their selection is pretty much unmatched in Holland besides the De Bierkoning This was made as a collab beer with Flying Dog of Maryland. Pour is a hazy, glowing orange with good rings of lacing that turned spidery with a medium head. Aromas of pineapple, juicy tangerine hops, resinous pine but all restrained perfectly. Taste is pure honey, oaky vanilla, tangerine, other tropical fruit notes. Amazing ipa style farmhouse. Didn’t get any saison notes really besides maybe mouthfeel and the crsip finish. Named for a seriously awesome establishment in the Dam, this beer did not disappoint. So much better then this years version in bottles. Great piece, had to have it.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2012 Was seeing this everywhere on release so just had to try it. Bottle poured into sniffer, dark reddish-golden color with decent lasting white head. Complex aroma of citrus, yeast and spice. Taste was bitter, dry, some sweetness and grain with a dry finish. Interesting brew, would have it again.

Poured a very hazy yellow color with a large white foamy head. Aroma has lemons, pepper, yeast, and bananas. Taste has lots of fruity flavors with a lot of pepper. Good spices combining with great yeast flavors and veggies. Nice and crisp. The hops are pretty herbal. Aftertaste has a slightly warming alcohol feeling. Overall very nice, one of my favorite flying dogs.
