COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

11.06.04 This wheat beer claims to be "In-Heat". And to get heat you probably need fire. I was left in the cold as this beer did not light my fire

Different from a hefe, but a decent beer. Not as cloudy as expected. Very lemony as opposed to citrusy. A little one note and sweet. Crazy cover.

Bottled. Cloudy pale yellow, creamy head. Lemony aroma. Clean with rounded mouthfeel. Medium sweet and fairly light bodied, Lightly yeasty, but mostly lemony. Certainly not true to style, but pretty decent for what it is.

UPDATED: NOV 2, 2004 bottle to plastic cup / hazy yellow orange with little to no head. slightly sticky, slightly medicinal, wierd grainy lemonhead flavor, and its hard to drink much of it... egh.

Pours a hazy orange in color, white head and decent lace, the nose is malt, earthy, slightly citrus. Front is sweet, the top thin, the finish is acidic, dry, nicely hopped. Once again, weve got a FD ale that aint too shabby. Id drink this again.

Burnt Beer Night: Yellow color with a medium head. Typical wheat aroma and flavor. A bit more sour than citrus. Not quite as good as even your average summer seasonal hefe.

Burnt Beer Night: Hazy Yellow Coloring. Some Citrus and Wheat. Not Bad Flavor..But Very Plain for a Hefe... A Step Down from What You Would Want Out a Good Hefe.

Light in color, cloudy and gold. Distinct wheat beer aroma. This one is a bit light, with citrus and a grassiness in the flavor, but a bit too weak.

Nice vapors... pretty solid consistency. A little bit of a cloud. Goldish. A good attempt at the Hefe. Light but good beer.

(tap) your classic wheat, obvious citrus aroma, taste the same from beginning to end. nothing too stunning... but i always like this style.
