Virtually no head, no sediment, some citrus aroma, I couldn't find the bananas. It was very nice on a hot day in Ohio, but nothing special. jgb9348 (6327) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUN 30, 2003
The colour is almost bright orange with a very thin off-white head. The smell was really nothing special, just an average malt smell. The taste was acceptable, a bit of the wheatie characteristics, but not too many of them, it was medium-bodied which was nice. The beer's flavour didn't last too long, but it was a decent all-around beer. I had this on tap at MacGregor's in Rochester, New York. Ringo (963) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - JUN 30, 2003
Draught. Average wheat beer. Nothing special, hot weather beer, not much else going for it. AustinMilbarge (681) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 29, 2003
Fort Collins Brew Fest 2003: As Cheri says, bananas. Good to drink on a hot summer day, very refreshing. Cashazza (217) - Morganville, Maryland, USA - JUN 29, 2003
There is nothing special about this beer except that it smells like bananas and tastes like bananas (and wheat). It's Okay -- not great -- but, I'm sure it would sell well on the Planet of the Apes.

an alright beer, i had 3 of these on tap at my buddies resturaunt, and they were good and went very good with the new orleans style food he was serving. i got this because the abita turbodog tap was dry. a very good offering though, mine came with a lemon but i dont even put lemon in ice tea so needless to say i didnt use it. Golden blond with a cloudy mix in the body. Slight spice and yeast with a hint of citrus. No clove or coriander in the body nor banana. Seemed a little watery or thin but this was still refreshing during an 80+ degree evening. Finished smooth and semi-sweet. Worth trying. ToadMan (559) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 20, 2003
Amber, small head, suprisingly small amount of sediment. Aroma of yeast and lemon. Taste is rather plain, yeast and lemon are the dominant flavors. Smooth with a slightly dry finish. Boring. miyagi701 (3) - Dyer, Indiana, USA - JUN 20, 2003 does not count
Lightly cloudy golden appearance with minimal lacy white head. Smells of grains and a hint of fruitiness. Taste isnt all that special. You can taste the wheat, as well as banana mingled in with grapefruit. Refreshing in summer, but that is about it. Crit (4024) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 12, 2003
Cloudy light amber, white head.Light citrus nose.Pleasant light bodied, mild refreshing citrus flavor.
Not a lot of cloying yeast, more like American wheat instead of the German style,I prefer this.
