Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

eh ... nothing special here. Buttery, banana, clove, and corriander dominates. Not too sweet but not as much yeast character as I would hope a hefe to have. What are you gonna do? I probably won’t go for this one again.

Pours to a super cloudy yellow-focused-orange. One finger white head that quickly dissipates, decent lacing. This tastes exactly like a German Hefe. It’s not bad, but by no means is it outstanding. There is no reason to purchase this beer, unless you’re giving someone a generic example of a style.

Bottle: Pours a hazy orange with a white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is of straw wheat and banana. Flavor of banana with a dry wheat finish. Light bodied.

Bottle. Pours out a hazy gold colour with a quickly receeding bubbly white head. Scent is pretty much strickly malted wheat. Taste is light bodied, if slightly abrasive, and has grassy notes. Definite malted wheat and an unfortunate ester funk.

I have not had alot of flying dog.... and based on this beer it could be my last. Way to sweet and way to wheaty.... I really have nothing to say about this beer. EW

Pours with a quick settling head. Hazy golen color. Smells of corriander and spice. Tastes similar to the smell. I guess I have soft spot for this taste.

Nice wheat with lots of wheat flavors and smooth mouth feel. Lots of wheat which stayed on the bottom of the glass when poured. Average lighter wheat style aroma with a hazy golden color.

Pours with a rich golden color, but the head and lacing on this are among the weakest I’ve seen within the beer style. Almost no carbonation makes me wonder if I did not get a bad batch. It comes with a pretty focused lemon smell, which overpowers a lot of the other orders. Taste is much like the nose; a serious lemon focus dominates.

Nothing spectacular, fizzy head with yellow-amber color, tastes of fruit. A tad generic.
