Big black pour, dark brown head. Chocolate covered espresso beans in the nose and carries through to the flavor. A bit of a bitter finish after sweet coffee goodness! Ahrens (37) - Lund, SWEDEN - APR 28, 2012
Nice stout with good coffee flavours. Nice aroma as well. One of my favourite coffee stouts. Hedenberg (29) - SWEDEN - APR 28, 2012
Bottle from Systembolaget. A smell of coffee & chocolate. Very dark, but nice, appearance with a brown head. You can really taste the coffee with a hint of chocolate. A very good Coffee stout! vjohans (756) - SWEDEN - APR 28, 2012
Nico aroma an palete. Coffea, vanilla and a little bacon(?!). More bitternees and more espresso taste rather than this cappuchino kind of beer would have rased the rating. Scopey (14736) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2012
Bottle from Deeside Drink Emporium. It pours jet black, with a thin beige head. The nose is roasted malt, toasted coconut, vanilla, dark chocolate and espresso coffee. The taste is roasted malt, charcoal, rich-roasted malt, toasted coconut, vanilla and bitter chocolate, with a dry finish. Full body, moderate carbonation and well hidden alcohol. Very drinkable for this style, well balanced and not at all cloying. Delicious.

Almost pitch black with a brown touch and a mocca head. There are a lot going on here, off course plenty of coffee, also dark chocolate, vanilla, wood, licorice and a soft feeling like someone pour soem double cream into the glass. A fairly rich acidity that disturbs a bit and it is not as full bodied as I like my Imperial Stouts. Balazs (787) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2012
On tap at Csakajósör. Deep brown, almost black, with a creamy beige foam. Strong coffee, burnt wood, hints of hot peppers, caramel, molasses in the aroma. Dense, oily, smooth on the palate. Excellent one.

A potent slab of roasted coffee on the nose. As you would expect this continues in the mouth. A little one dimensional with not much in the way of hopping going on. A creamy mouth feel with a subtle bite from the alcohol. Not sure about the ’dry’ finish as, for me, it has a long roasted coffee finish. Tasty, if a little heavy-handed. scottw86 (1177) - Maryland, USA - APR 25, 2012
Poured black with a thick yet thin tan head. Aroma has tons of coffee with chocolate malts. Some alcohol noticeable with a touch of fruity yeast notes. Taste is very full-bodied and flavorful with lots of coffee and malty goodness. Very thick tasting, like eating coffee beans. Alcohol is slightly noticeable in the finish. Some slightly nutty flavors with some creamy text adds to the complexity. Finish is nice and smooth with a touch of fruit and more coffee. Overall a fantastic stout.
