Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, choclate, coffee, cacao beans, light vanilla. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

2012. More or less pitch black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted coffee, some chocolate, toffee, ripe fruits, vanilla and mild wooden notes. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, ripe fruits, asome ashes as well as some slight milky notes.

Bottle at the Bier Temple. Opaque black beer, thick frothy tan head. Smooth palate. Creamy dark malt with rich but very smooth coffee. Trace of minerals. No roughness or bitterness. A really nice coffee beer!
