Odd one this is. When in the mouth has a full body flavor of warm, creamy, chocolate, mocha coffee like. Also some caramel and vanilla, together with the roasted malts ofcourse. The weird part is the finish. Its almost like the flavor vanishes and leaves a watery substance. Keeps it fresh and almost gives you a neutral pallet for the next sip, but id like a little more finish to it ... the lingering is missing.

Pours thin black with little head. Aroma of dark fruit and peat. Taste of caramel, soya sauce, smoke, coffee and port like flavours. Quite fizzy for the style, clean but abit thin. Easy. Abit weak for a bit an imperial stout but a good drink

Bottle - Black colour, medium, creamy light brown head with average retention and fine lacing. Intense coffee aromas with some toasted malts, caramel and chocolate. Taste is also ruled by coffee and chocolate. Full body, soft carbonation, smooth texture, long roasted finish. Alcohol is well disguised. Well rounded coffee stout, easy drinkable and smooth.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2016 Gosh. Expected the coffee. Not so much the banana, which is prominent in the taste and the nose and has a softening effect. So, dark of course, with a short lived brown head. Low carb, full body. One of the most drinkable stouts Ive had at this ABV.

Tastes as it should, it is made with real coffee so no synthetic falseness. It has a much sweeter aftertaste (vanilla and cream) than I expected and despite the high percentage it is very well balanced.
