Above average, sweeter stout. Notes of milk chocolate, cream, and holiday spices make this a very drinkable stout. Perfect for a winter’s, if we are going to have any this year.

chinchill (5450) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 3, 2017
12 oz bottle with an April 2017 BB date stamp. Pours opaque black-brown with a short tan head that soon reduces to a thin but durable top coat. Aroma: gives me a 2-stage set of aromatics. Initially slightly sour and dank, but then brighter with caramel, dark bread and faint spices. Flavor: Dark bread with hints of licorice, lactose, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar, Mild woody dry hop finish. Full body; creamy smooth; soft, medium carbonation. Overall: not strong but it has plenty of flavor. Exceptionally well hidden alcohol.
