This is not a good beer. The best thing about it is the label. Malt is weak as are the hops. It’s like drinking weak coffee. No bite, no complexity. I would have poured it out but I was on a train.

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Clear deep amber color with a nice eggshell white head. Malty aromas with hints of toffee and apricot. Malt forward and sweet on the palate with a touch of bitterness. Medium body with nice carbonation. Bitter finish.

Bottle enjoyed at home, poured a deep amber colour with a beige head. Sweet caramel upfront. Toffee, raisins, i’m getting a hint of walnut. Some hop bitterness in the back. Some yeast aswel. Not the best beer that i’ve had from flying dog

Bottle from Sully’s Deep amber/copper color with a huge bubbly off white head that slowly recedes. The aroma is heavy on the caramel malt with hints of toffee and light chocolate. Light earthy hop aroma barely. The flavor is rich caramel maltiness with a touch of burnt sugar. Earthy spicy hop flavor with a light amount of bitterness. Solid darker lager brew.

Delicious. Clean lager with a little bit of a fruity kick, pretty nice aroma to it and goes down nice n easy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"kind of a miss for me. decent malt/hop balance, but the flavor just wasn’t there for my tastes. supposedly a hybrid amber ale/steam beer, but i’ve had many examples of each style i liked better. just ok."
