Bottle. Pours a dark, shiny, reflective black with a thin, light tan head. This has a thick aroma of the seaside. This is a "chewy" beer, ripe with raisin, carob and a bit of salt. Enjoyable. (#4856, 12/14/2012)

Mineral, salt, tannic notes, metallic, light bitter chocolate on the tongue. Delicious dryness without being cloying. A great sessionable stout.

Not sure what the oysters offer in flavor or aroma. Nice malty stout with flavors and aroma of chocolate.

0.33l bottle. Aroma of some chocolate, coffee and cherries. Tastes like cherry, grapes, chocolate and some floral hoppyness and maybe a hint of saltyness. I havent really noticed the presence of the oysters. Nice dry finish. Good one.

Nice stout with coffee and roasted aromas; it is well balanced; perhaps some mild salty brininess but this is pretty distant.
