Opaque dark brown beer, tidy grey-tan head. Softish palate with nice fine carbonation. Mild minerals. Mildly tangy dark malt. A little lactose. Soft mild roast. Trace of licorice and a whisper of bubblegum and mellow citrus. Semi dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle. Very dark brown beer with a rich lasting beige head. Coffee and cocoa aroma, licorice, roasted, spot, figs, dark bread, some plums, salty and with brown sugar. Chocolate flavor, milky, cream, licorice, dades, cocoa powder, roasted, salty notes, figs, some soot, easy to drink and nice to find a stout with lower ABV to be this complex and drinkable.
