This is the beer that got me hooked on IPA's. Strong? Yes. But with a name like that I wouldn't expect any this less. Really good beer.

Malty, dark and twisted IPA - yes, I know, easy to describe most Flying Dog brews in this way but this is what the brewery is known for. There is a hint of that Belgian influence, but personally it is very subtle in the mix. The Stone Belgique IPA is probably a better example, in my eyes at least. Raging Bitch is one of the brewery’s stronger offerings. Personally, I prefer Snake Dog and the Session IPA (I forget the name) but this is a decent and pleasant offering. Can’t really go wrong with a Flying Dog. rotaman14 (746) - Wiesbaden, GERMANY - NOV 28, 2017
Appearance: deep amber body with a white head. Aroma: malt, brown sugar, cookies, butter and pine first and foremost. Taste: caramel like sweetness balanced out by a hoppy aftertaste. Palate: full bodied, smooth. Overall: the malt is definitely in the foreground here. A good brew, but there's room for improvement. More fruity hoppiness and we're gucci. kimeechi (1) - - NOV 19, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: NOV 19, 2017 Bottle @ wholefoods. Nice and strong taste, perfect for the smaller bottle size. serch_kaiba (23) - - NOV 18, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2017 Bottiglia 33 cL. Colore ambrato carico, opaco. Insicura. BeerInHeaven (487) - Brillion, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2017
pours an amber gold with a medium white head. Definitely smell the banana/clove combo but also a light citrus. Complex taste. All kinds of stuff going on. I definitely get the Belgian yeast influence with light spiciness, but then moderate hop bitter with a slight pine citrus. Moderate bitter finish with spices lingering in the sinuses. I like it!

Not the best Belgian style IPA. Tastes alright but the after taste is kinda overwhelming after one bottle.

Klart, gyllent med fint skum. Ananas, sitrus, høy og litt funk i duften. Avstemt bitterhet i smaken sammen med noe steinfrukt. jh773 (311) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2017
Clear deep gold amber color. Slightly malty aroma. Taste is dry, peppery yeasty flavors with a lon gspicy finish.
