3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a pale copper with a large head that dissipates quickly. The aroma was the biggest letdown, although it had notes of both styles the IPA should have shown through here as aroma is more important to it. Additionally, there was a (for me)light but very unsavory barnyard odor that went beyond belgian or saison. Could have been a bad bottle, hard to say. Beyond that body was generally light and refreshing. The taste generally featured the matly, complex nature of a strong belgian ale, which was appreciated. Overall, an interesting combination of styles that could have been slightly better constructed.

Decent beer. You can only have a few before your gut starts to hate you. The buzz is warm and cozy a great night cap

On tap. Dark yellow to amber, little bit hazy with medium, frothy, solid white head and good lacing. Strong citrus, hoppy aromas with floral, caramel and malty notes. Medium body, again malty n taste, with slightly oily mouthfeel and pretty heavy bitterness in the finish. Well balanced, would never say it is 8,3%. Very good stuff. hub66 (506) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 19, 2017
Couleur dorée; mousse blanche; arômes et goût maltés, fruités et de résine; un peu de levure; finale bien amère hartog (3) - GERMANY - AUG 15, 2017 does not count
Very floral and lots of hops, but that is to be expected from an ipa. The taste reminds me of perfumes, the smell of autumn flowers. Perfect to accompany a simple steak meal or to go with some strong cheeses.
Amber colored, with a nice white head. Soft prickly co2 on the tongue

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2017 Bière cuivrée avec une mousse un peu écrue, un nez un peu fruité avec un fond de litchi. Pas trop de pétillance mais un fond de bouche très doux, un peu de litchi très sirupeux. Bonne biere Grumbo (3464) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2017
Bottle. Pours almost clear amber with a lasting off-white head leaving good lacing. Aroma of hop, caramel, sweet malt, fruit, biscuit and floral notes. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight stickiness to texture, soft to average carbonation. Very good. beeebon (467) - Cornwall, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2017
From bottle pours a clear copper colour with small off white head. Aroma is complex revealing notes of toffee, banana, marmalade/orange, bubblegum, oak, doughy yeast and a touch of citrus. Taste is medium to strong sweet and a touch boozey but very nicely balanced with a clean dry bitterness with a decent lasting finish. Nice amount of carbonation with a slightly chewy texture. A very nice IPA GvanGool (113) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 18, 2017
Light brown / amber of colour. Very nice brownish head. Stays up long and has nice lacing in the glass.
The taste is not so bitter as I would expect from an IPA. There is quite some smell/taste of sweet fruits as banana.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2017 355ml bottle. Pours brown. Banana, bubblegum, peach, apricot, orange peel, caramel. Big hop character, but with a surprisingly big yeast profile too. Very nice.
