Road Dog was the first label Ralph Steadman designed which later inspired Hunter S. Thompson’s "Road Dog" essay. We then spent four years fighting for the right to display their now famous quote "Good Beer No Shit." To make a long story short, we won. Let us hoist a pint to free speech, NO CENSORSHIP, the genius of Ralph Steadman, and the Gonzo Spirit of Hunter S. Thompson!

a light porter... some chocolat and coffee... well balanced bitterness and sweetness... very short finish...

Delicious, prominent aroma of hops, chocolate and sweet caramel. Pours a dark brown with a smooth white head. Complex taste involving hops, spices, chocolate, butterscotch and caramel. Fantastic Flying Dog ’bite’ thrown in there too, but still goes down smooth. Loved this porter.

Not a bad porter. Drier than most, with a nice smooth, roasted chocolate character.

Cerveza negra con espuma ligera. Olores a dulces, café. Sabor a café, regaliz, tostado. Cuerpo ligero y medio gas. Mejor no demasiado fría.

Dark brown with ruby highlights. dry chocolate and redcurrant on the nose, dry roasted malts, touch of residual sweetness. Some higher alcohols as it warms gives a touch of vegetal harshness in the finish.

355ml. Brown colour with an avergae beige head, with medium duration. Aroma is toasty, some citrus and smoky notes. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, slightly ctrus notes, ashes traces. The final is medium dry with a mild bitterness with good duration. Carbonation and body are medium.

Bottle at Ipanema bar, Thessaloniki: Dark color with small white head. Aroma of coffee and malt. Taste is very light, some coffee, some caramel. Oily body and medium carbonation. Overall, not gonna try it again. Did not like it.

Poured dark reddish brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma was weak but there were malty hints. The flavour is medium bitter with liqourice and some yeasty notes on the palate. This isn’t a real porter in my opinion. It lacks that chewy malt in the flavour. It’s rather drinkable and quite refreshing, but nothing special.

ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - NOV 20, 2012
Bottle. Dark brown with a rather small head. Faint aroma of roasted grain and licorice plus shy hints of butter, pumpernikel bread, earth, chocolate and dark fruit. Many aroma elements, though unfortunately failing to impress. Medium carbonation, watery body, not really flavourful. Rather strong bitterness, with roast and chocolate in the flavour and earthy notes in the aftertaste. Boring.
