Ooh... make or break, it’s been awhile since I have had one of these. Amber color with a taller somewhat creamy looking head that dissipated to a small lid and some lace. Aromas caramel, mild pine wood, grapefruit zest and polenta. Somewhat fizzy thin body. Nutty caramel start, pine middle and woody finish. A raw hop amber brew.

Aroma is a nice hoppy scent with a touch of citrus. Color is a bright golden amber with good carbonation and a thin white head. Taste is citrusy, bitter and a little sweet. Starting with a light/medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish come on right away with citrus and a touch of malt, the citrus goes a bit sweet giving it an orange taste then ends bitter. After taste is mildly bitter with an orange zest taste. Its a nice IPA that’s a is a little different then most but still nothing special

GMUcrew7 (577) - Mason, Ohio, USA - MAY 2, 2008
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2008 bottle, pours burnt orange color with small off white head. As expected aroma is hoppy, piney resin mostly with some citrus, and a little malt. Flavor starts out semi-sweet, with a nice bitter, hoppy finish. Not the best, I wish I had tasted the pre-2008 version so I could compare, but a pretty decent IPA.

Draught @ TDR Ex: Aroma of floral hops and fruit. Poured mber in color with a creamy, dense, off-white head. Hazy. Very good to excellent lacing. Flavor was medium bitter. Tastes of floral hops and a tiny bit of pale malts. Medium body. Ary texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy finish. "Alright. Pretty good, but not great."

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is clear light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit). Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Very lean, thin, and watery in the mouth, almost no malt presence at all...otherwise average (though I think lovers of the usual green/American hop smell will enjoy the aroma).
