Super clean aroma with a clean taste. Slight citrus flavor and very dry. I really enjoyed their IPA. This is one of the best out there.

Muy buena cerveza norteamericana. Posiblemente de las mejores que he probado de este pais y seguro que la mejo India Pale Ale.

Clear body, amber color with an off-white lacing head. Caramel, grapes, apple, pine, honey, woodcask hints in the aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Fruity but bitter taste and aftertaste. Really good!

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow in color with a big head. The flavor is spicy malts, with some earthy hops. Not getting that much in the citrus department. More malt driven with toned down hops and a medium bitter finish. Certainly an easy to drink IPA, but not among my favorites.

Bottle from The Cave. Mild phenolic hoppy aroma. Hazy amber brown colour, not much head. Sharp strong dry hoppy resin flavour. Big bitter aftertaste. Good, but not Raging Bitch.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2014 Re-rate of an old amateur rating. Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear rusty orange color, medium to full sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bitter malts, grapefruit. Taste malts, hops, bitter hops, grapefruit. Very bitter especially in the finish, quite dry. Medium to full body, medium carbonation.

Snappy hop aroma. Gold and clear in appearance. Quarter inch film head. Taste was pleasantly bitter hoppiness offset by a slight sweetness which really makes the beer what it is. I didnt realize that Flying Dog had reformulated this beer a few years back. This is twice the beer of the old one and I will be buying again.

Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Poured a clear bronze, with a light body that had a very sudsy head. Carbonation must be high, because there were lots of bubbles. The scent was very hoppy, and had hints of grapefruit with a sweet caramel twist. The flavor was explosively hoppy, very bitter and dry. Notes of lemon zest, pineapple and sweet malts (like honey) created a fantastic malty backbone. The finish was bitter and dry, intensely bitter on the palate that was rather refreshing. Some could say that this is TOO hoppy and bitter, but the extremity of that flavor made this stand out.
