Served into a Flying Dog pint glass A: Amber, small white head with a small lace, no carbonation S: Faint malt, fruity grapefruit bitter T: Bitter with a sweet start, same fruitiness as the smell, astringent, crisp, piney. For me lacks a finishing flavor, medium to light bodied. I like it, would have it again but didn’t rock my world, missing a step to be an awesome beer.

Bottle. Color dark hazy orange with medium head. Aroma hop, floral, fresh. Taste quite sweet, hop, dry, citrus, bitter.

Clear and dark yellow, good head. Aroma of pine - but not strong. More taste of pine, quite bitter, and slightly metallic. Finish is a good bitterness. A good IPA, though it’s in a crowded field of ’em.

12 oz bottle. Pours light amber, orangey with a nice fluffy tan head. Big nose of hops- floral, piny- dried fruit. Medium-full body, great mouthfeel, soft almost creamy. Taste is lots of hops, nice balance of malts, citrus note opens up and a big bitter finish. I like this one a lot, definitely worth getting again- two thumbs up!

Pours a clear orange from bottle, 1.5" frothy white head. Has that mysterious "cilantro of beer" hop to it. I have to got to identify this hop, email me if you know it. Tastes a bit bitter compared to most IPA’s and a bit watery.

jimmay (807) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 30, 2010
12 oz bottle from a friend. Pours nice copper colour, with fine white head. Leaves nice lacing in the glass. Fairly big earthy, citrusy aroma and taste, fairly well balanced. What an IPA should be.

A: snifter. pours a clear medium copper color with a nice off-white head. good retention rate and some nice lacing that clings to the glass. S: wonderful IPA nose. what a nice bouquet of hop aromas. tones of earthy tones, like pine and other evergreens. there is also a lot of citrus hints all over this. T: nice crystal malt backbone followed by a wonderful citrus hop flavor, mostly grapefruit and an earthy flavor. M: smooth and crisp, with a medium body. nice bite from the hops. D: very nice session IPA. another good brew from Flying Dog.

Plenty of hops with little obstruction from the malts, slightly floral in aroma and enough bitterness to keep me interested.

erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - SEP 24, 2010
UPDATED: SEP 27, 2010 Power hops indeed. Floral aroma, some spices. Relatively sweet for an IPA but that actually makes it better, more drinkable. Aftertaste is still dry and strong though. Great beer. Best of my Flying Dog sampler pack.

robiannelli (591) - West Deptford, New Jersey, USA - SEP 24, 2010
12oz bottle pours deep cloudy amber with medium head. Smells flural with a back note of fruit . Has a citrus fruit flavor with a strong taste of hops almost a grapefruit or peach taste
