Lovely pine and fruity armoa and taste. Bitter but balanced. Really drinkable, very easy to drink a lot of. A regular. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - NOV 23, 2010
G: Poured into a Stone Arrogant Bastard ping glass.
A: Slightly copperish; more the color of grain--doesn’t appear as "heavy" as the typical IPA. Decent single-finger head to start off, although this dissipates quickly, leaving a little bit of lacing.
S: Slightly hoppy. Not much citrus, and a little bit of pale malt. A tiny bit of amber as well.
T: Quite malty. I would say that there is a decent balance, although I think this tends a little too much toward malt for the style. With the hops, I’m not getting all that much--I don’t know where the 60 IBU’s are. The malt is slightly biscuity.
M: Smoothe with light carbonation. Mellows in the mouth.
D: Drinkable enough, nothing too special. I’ll try this on tap if I see it, just to see if it’s any different. BeerMePodcast (96) - Palm Desert, California, USA - NOV 22, 2010
Caramel malt mixed with resinous, pine/spruce aroma and flavor. The resin flavor really comes out well and washes into a nice bitter finish. I can’t wait to open another! JFURYCAT (1078) - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 21, 2010
Pretty solid IPA with an almost wintergreen-laden citrus Columbus hop smack with a nice sweet IPA tea-like aroma. a bit one dimensional as far as flavors going. nice crisp medium-dry aftertaste. Meilby (11692) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 19, 2010

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2012 En mycket fin IPA som drar starkt åt tropisk frukt. Mycket frisk, citrus, bra balanserad beska och maltkropp. Inte för tunn eller tung. Stor munkänsla, bra eftersmak. chrisv10 (18504) - DENMARK - NOV 10, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2012 355 ml bottle from Voldby. Clear amber with medium off-white head. aroma is malt, fruit, hop and citrus. flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, citrus, little sweet, pine and medium bitter. williamherbert (1544) - Syracuse, New York, USA - NOV 9, 2010
The aroma is woody hops, oily pine sap. Malts are a spicy rye-like malt, and treated wood and sawdust.
The appearance is golden yellow in color. Nice, big slushy head. Clear with lots of carbonation. Very healthy lacing.
The flavor is spicy malts, like oak, and the woody hops double-down. Not a ton of balance but enough woody hops to keep my interest.
The palate is creamy with a slick finish. A solid, standard IPA. Nothing that compelling, but drinkable as hell. A pretty good beer; a solid choice. Wolfenkopf (193) - Villa Park, Illinois, USA - NOV 7, 2010
The aroma is very faint on this one, though what little does come through is fruit and hops. I had to take several attempts at this to get anything from my glass. It is a clean-looking, golden brown ale. The head is light amber and frothy and takes a bit to settle down. The flavor is this brew’s high point. It is malty, hoppy and laced with citrus fruit. The bitterness on the palate is mild and pleasant, not taking anything away from enjoyment. This one is well worth trying, though there are IPA’s similar in quality for less dough. pilsnerrogge (2997) - Finspång, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2010
Amber colour. Creamy head. Aroma is gooseberries, pine and tropical fruits. Flavour is more gooseberries, pine and tropical fruits. Well balanced and tasty.
