More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

Pours yellow with a light amber glow and white head. Aroma is a resiney and slightly sweet citrus. Flavor packs initial hoppy bite that then opens to make way for the rest of the malt character to kick in but retains much of the tart mouth feel left over from the hops.

Dark clear gold-amber. Strong sweet malty aroma; caramel, biscuit, fruit. Taste is not as sweet as the nose suggests; mostly smooth grapefruit and citrus flavor, some pine and herbal notes. Zesty finish.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Superb strong flavour. A cross between dead pony and cannonball. The hops are very evident but subtle in their attack. Lovely brew.

Вполне сносная Американская Ipa. Запах фруктово-хмелевой. Вкус очень резкий, чувствуется достаточно большая фруктовая горечь.Послевкусие очень мягкое с легкой горчинкой.

Off white creamy head stayed on a translucent, still, copper coloured body. Minimal aroma of malt & spice. Medium bodied. Smooth & slightly cloying. Malt forward with a back of citrus & pith. Similar to an English IPA.

Can. Orange with a medium head.Surprisingly malty for an IPA with just a hint of hops. Has quite a powerful presence and is certainly above average.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 First tasted in a bottle from Binny's in Chicago, now a can from Asda, Ferring, so I'm probably looking at it through a haze of nostalgia, but I loved it! Very fruity, unapologetically strong and hoppy, copper, with a Snow White head that won't quit. New World , heavily carbonated bliss, it's never been to India, but, hey, the graphics more than make up for that!

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind the slightly hazy yellow orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The semi-sharp flavor contained notes of hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Retrogusto y postgusto a pino.

Bottle, UK import, source not recorded. Backlog entry. Entering my historic scores for US beers whilst visiting New York. No tasting notes kept, just rating.

a serious IPA that’s not to be trifled with. there is a darkness and maturity to this dense and demanding brew. highly recommended.
