a: gold amber hue, 1/4" head with fair retention. light lacing rings around the glass s: floral, citrus hop, slight caramel malt t: Is there such a thing as a balanced american ipa? I think this is the best example. Bitterness and sweet malt are held in check. Good hop flavor profile features flowery and citrus hops. nice. m&d: slick somewhat prickily mouthfeel. on the border of a DIPA ABV wise, so imbibe wisely.

Bottle from 100 piv. Smell of pine, zest, tangerines. Yellow to copper color, small white head. Taste full of tangerines, zest, pine bitterness. Small to medium body, oily texture. Good

Steffan (80) - WALES - MAY 31, 2017
Dark for an IPA, minimal head, bitter and lingering gritty taste. Not like a regular IPA, quite gritty, alcohol fairly apparent but weirdly thin despite the ABV. Okay but not one to return to.

Standard IPA. Hints of citrus. Not overwhelmingly hoppy. Medium bodied. Goes down fairly smooth. Refreshing.

Bottled. Golden brown, clear appearance with a strong head.Strong hoppy aroma - pine/spruce. A lot of IPA taste - there is some depth to this. Bitter but nicely balanced. You can taste the strength! Recommended

This is a very nice IPA. Good, strong hoppy bitterness, easy to drink and very refreshing. Nothing toooo special, but a good, hoppy and classical IPA.

2016 catch up - Can at home. A very smooth and easy drinking IPA. Gentle hops and some malt which gave a very satisfying mouth feel. I would happily drink it again and it was quite a reasonable price for an American IPA of this high quality.
