3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy orange, thin beige head. Seems quite a bit different than the original IPA, but that mey be just my memory playing tricks on me. I dunno. Harsher, a little rougher around the edges, I guess. Really citrusy and an odd aroma of sea breeze (from the ocean, not the facial cleanser). Flavor is, as I said, fairly harsh and unrefined, at least compared to what I was expecting. Not bad, actually.
Dark clear gold-amber. Strong sweet malty aroma; caramel, biscuit, fruit. Taste is not as sweet as the nose suggests; mostly smooth grapefruit and citrus flavor, some pine and herbal notes. Zesty finish. tonyyoung (9) - - OCT 13, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Superb strong flavour. A cross between dead pony and cannonball. The hops are very evident but subtle in their attack. Lovely brew. biilz (162) - SPAIN - OCT 5, 2017
Off white creamy head stayed on a translucent, still, copper coloured body.
Minimal aroma of malt & spice.
Medium bodied. Smooth & slightly cloying.
Malt forward with a back of citrus & pith. Similar to an English IPA. johndoughty (5521) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2017
Can. Orange with a medium head.Surprisingly malty for an IPA with just a hint of hops. Has quite a powerful presence and is certainly above average.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 First tasted in a bottle from Binny's in Chicago, now a can from Asda, Ferring, so I'm probably looking at it through a haze of nostalgia, but I loved it! Very fruity, unapologetically strong and hoppy, copper, with a Snow White head that won't quit. New World , heavily carbonated bliss, it's never been to India, but, hey, the graphics more than make up for that! thedm (6307) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 31, 2017
This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind the slightly hazy yellow orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The semi-sharp flavor contained notes of hops. An OK brew just nothing special. kaserov (930) - Oviedo, SPAIN - AUG 25, 2017
Retrogusto y postgusto a pino. Grumbo (3847) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2017
Bottle, UK import, source not recorded. Backlog entry. Entering my historic scores for US beers whilst visiting New York. No tasting notes kept, just rating. p0urmeac0ld0ne (203) - Merthyr Tydfil, WALES - AUG 22, 2017
a serious IPA that’s not to be trifled with. there is a darkness and maturity to this dense and demanding brew. highly recommended.
