Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a hazy red color with a thin white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of cherries and lightly tart malts. The taste is citrus, red wine, cherries. Lightly tart. Thin, watery and bland. Very disappointing. BrewBoxer (2653) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Draft. Ruby red color. Not really a sour IMO. Reminds me of a berliner weisse with a splash of grenedine. Decent. Nice for the summer time cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2012
pour is hazed light ruby red grapefruit with thin white ring. Nose is faint, light cherry and a hint dusty. Taste is much of the same, cherry and light sawdust note with hig carb and light but present sourness. A touch syrupy for a Berliner and lacks depth of flavor. jredmond (8445) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 5, 2012
Draft with Dallas at Pony bar. Pours a thick hazy red body with thin white lacing. Aroma is sour cherry and light malt. Mouthfeel is more pleasant than the aroma leads you to believe - notes of sour cherry, light wood, grain, and malts. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JUL 13, 2012
Serving: Draft at Fireworks. Hazy reddish pour with very poor head retention. Light malt and cherries in the nose. A touch of grain on the tongue with some sour cherries, a little maltiness and that’s about it. Spritzy and fruity. Clean and short finish. Lacks the depth and character that prime examples have.

Not a while lot of cheery or sour. Fairly earthy and smokey. Crisp and dry. Light barn and yeast aroma. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - JUL 10, 2012
This one didn’t do much for me, tasted like a flat brown with some cherry in it. Not very tart, not much in the palate and finished very flat and bland. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 5, 2012
taster at Roasthouse Pub. pours a light red with a white head. light cherry aromas. light body with sour cherry notes, light acidity and a very water based body. very weak sour imo with medicinal qualities and light sour cherry notes. mansquito (6695) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUL 2, 2012
Granville Moore’s, DC tap ($7): Pours a small white head over a red body. Aroma is light cherries. Taste is very light. There is some amount of cherry in there along with a very light sour malt backbone. This was a very light ale, but nothing was at all offensive. I was a bit disappointed, but this was by no means bad. j12601 (12974) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 30, 2012
On tap at Rattle N Hum prior to going to The Gate for a Carton event. Pours a hazed brown amber with a thin to medium sized white head. Cherry on the nose, medicinal, smells of cough drops. Medium bodied, sweet, cherry cough syrup. Malt, odd acid, grain. Dries out and gets a bit grainy. Lots of tart acid, drinks pretty well in spite of the shortcomings. Grainy cherries on the finish.
