COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Full Disclosure: This beer came to fruition because we saw a gap in our portfolio and we wanted to increase our market share. Sometimes the truth hurts. But most often, it’s damn refreshing. The Truth Imperial IPA--the latest addition to our year-round portfolio-is a hop bomb of some of the most distinct Pacific Northwest hops available today. Its sharp hop bitterness begins with huge pine notes on the nose, which evolve into bright citrus (think grapefruit) and subtle stone fruit flavors.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2017 En meget smagfuld IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy amber color with medium white head. Aroma is boozy and hoppy, with tropical and sweet citrus fruits, but also a strong malty backbone. Taste follows the nose, malty, citrusy and tropical, with a strong boozy kick towards the end. Bitter aftertaste.

Butelka do 18.03.2018. Wygląd - jasno złoty kolor, całkowicie klarowne, z średnio i drobno pęcherzykową, białą pianą.

12-ounce bottle pours clear golden yellow with a small creamy off-white head and lacing. Aroma: mango, pineapple, pine, floral. Flavor: above, ramped up, with super juicy melon. Mouthfeel: full-bodied, slick, luscious; nicely balanced. I find that some DIPAs can be too astringent from the hops or cloying from the malt, but this isn't. Moreover, you have to love the bottle's Ralph Steadman artwork and the company owner's connection to Hunter S. Thompson (R.I.P. Hunter).
