COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Full Disclosure: This beer came to fruition because we saw a gap in our portfolio and we wanted to increase our market share. Sometimes the truth hurts. But most often, it’s damn refreshing. The Truth Imperial IPA--the latest addition to our year-round portfolio-is a hop bomb of some of the most distinct Pacific Northwest hops available today. Its sharp hop bitterness begins with huge pine notes on the nose, which evolve into bright citrus (think grapefruit) and subtle stone fruit flavors.

pale copper, thin foamy head...dusty aroma, flavors of burnt caramel, alcohol, moderate bitter long finish, no discernible malt (a plus in my book)... definitely drinkable but not a lot going on-- no real citrus or pine, etc..

14/X/17 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 16/III/18 (2017-1782)

Clear orange beer, creamy yellowish head, solid, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of orange peel, sweet caramel malts, little soapy, peach candy notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: alcohol, quite some grapefruit, sweet and malty, caramel, fruity notes, lots of alcohol, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: grapefruit, bitter hops, alcohol, bit grassy, some bubble gum, bit sweet, some banana, bitter marmalade, more alcohol.

Bottle pours clear golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, not as intense as I'd like. East Coast flavor, sweet malty base, caramel and sugar, average citrus and pine hop punch. Medium full, little syrupy. Decent.

Dorqui (2303) - Brescia, ITALY - DEC 31, 2017
Bottled 0,355L. CLear hazy orange color, medium dirty aspect, good bubbly aspect and long creamy white head duration. Aroma is moderate malty, citric and hoppy nose with something white grapes aged and fruity hops. Moderate sweet and overbanding alcoholic palate, solid and fraught mouth of sweet malt, pine, dry hoppy. Modest carbonation and long sweetish final.

Bottle. Thanks to whoever shared it! Misty golden body, white head. Lasting stale oxidated aroma, maltiness, vague orange. Full malty taste, light maltiness, light orange, light figs, but soft. Orange candy, light alcohol. Meh, okay, hope to rerate it fresh, definitely not representative in the shape we got it.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2017 En meget smagfuld IPA. Den smager rigtig meget af citrus, og har en fin bitterhed i eftersmagen. Rigtig meget IPA i den.

Pours a slightly hazy amber color with medium white head. Aroma is boozy and hoppy, with tropical and sweet citrus fruits, but also a strong malty backbone. Taste follows the nose, malty, citrusy and tropical, with a strong boozy kick towards the end. Bitter aftertaste.

33cl bottle at cafe de toeter in Groningen. Pours a haxy orange amber colour with a creamy yet frothy white head. Aroma of fruity hops, orange, caramel, mango, dust, slight malt. Taste is medium sweet, moderate bitter with a medium dry finish. Notes of fruity hops, grassy hops, caramel, orange, citrus, mango, slight banana, slight pineapple. Texture is oily to watery, medium bodied with moderate carbonation

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2017 Bottiglia 33 cL (Valhalla Pub @ Pavia). Colore giallo carico, ottima schiuma pallida e persistente. Profumi erbacei, menta e pino. In bocca è amara dall'inizio alla fine, alcol non invadente.
