First sample seemed rather good--a light ale with some interesting yeasty elements and fruit. Subsequent tastings revealed a terribly boring, thin beer. Not recommended. ultraspank (867) - Alverca, Lisboa, PORTUGAL - SEP 8, 2002
Had one of these on draft at the Old Bag of Nails Pub in Worthington. Very subtle nose of yeast, nuts, spruce and soap. Pours a light clear honey. The average head is frothy and white with good lacing. The flavor is balanced but shallow/bland. The average bready/yeasty finish reminds of a pilsener. The thin body is creamy and dry with a finish that feels astringent. I’m not impressed. gbzia (195) - Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, USA - SEP 5, 2002
A nice every day, cut the grass, quaffing drink. Bought a case once and enjoyed it, but not what I normally drink. RedTickBeer (39) - Gainesville, Florida, USA - SEP 5, 2002
Not horrible but I like the other brews from this brewer so much better. Not too much going on. PhillyBeer2112 (2862) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - AUG 20, 2002
Heavy aroma of cooked peas, with a tiny hint of spicy hops. Bright yellow gold, small head. Med bitterness and a harsh pea flavor. Bleh.

A light yellow color with very little head. Not much aroma, and not much taste either. Acidic finsh like everyone else mentioned, and a very light texture. Not very exciting, but not really offensive. kmeves (1098) - Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 18, 2002
Clear/blond color. Frothy white head. Sweet at the start, finish is dry/malty. Drinkable, but not a great beer. papajohn (1250) - San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA - JUL 25, 2002
I agree with Gusler’s review: Pale, sweet, kind of light with and acidic finish. Drinkable, but not a great beer. ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - JUL 24, 2002
Has a wheaty aroma. Pale, golden color with very little head and poor retention. It is a light-bodied beer with some bite to it (hence the name). You could do a lot worse. Good session beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 1, 2002
clear gold with ok head. apple yeasty aroma. clean flavor, pretty mild with only a little bitterness. decent beer, but nothing worth recommending.
