Very lively and wonderful fruity IPA by Flying Dog. Great hops, nice little bitter. Love it.

Murky amber and two finger white head. Earthy malt aroma, tangerine, mango, citrus, hibiscus and pink peppercorns. Solid malt forward base, gradual leafy hops and finishes dirty tropical fruit rind. There’s a lingering spice in there but it meshes quite well for a strong fruity malty IPA. Belgian style.

Palme (4816) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 1, 2017
0.355l bottle. This one pours a more or less clear golden amber colored body with a tall lasting and lacing off-white head. Almost a little fluffy. Smells fruity and a little tropical from the second you pop the cap. Sweet fruity with peach, citrus peel and a nice sweet maltiness in the back. What’s not to like about that. It’s just above average on the carbonation, big bubbled and ut feels mild oily in the mouth. Tastes nice also. Not a super fresh bottle though. A little dusty, lots of grapefruit peel, citrus, pine cones, some hints of alcohol in the back. Piney long burp. Nice. 01.07.2017

Rune (13372) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 28, 2017
Bottle at Agenturet Øl og Vin Bar. Clear amber in body appearance. Dissipating beige head. Clingy lacing. Aroma of mango and almond. Mid-sweet taste of caramel fruits, figs and almond followed by a rounded bittersweet finish. Well bodied and mouth filling. Tasty and nice. (Tromsø 03.06.2017).

Nsanders (1163) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - JUN 11, 2017
Bottle. Amber with a white head and medium lacing. Pineapple, wheat, bubblegum, clementines and floral aromas. Taste is mild with a fruity bubblegum flavor. Medium body with a foamy feel.

03.06.2017, 12 oz bottle @ home:
Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry concentrated citrusy, weeds, yeast, citrus peel, minerals, bark, hops, hay, flowers, alcohol, pine needles, sawdust. Taste is slightly sweet concentrated grassy, weeds, leafs, minerals, sap, alcohol, light malts, sawdust, citrus peel, hay, paper, yeast, banana, grass. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh citrusy mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea.

Bottle. Cloudy golden orange body with a big, lacing off-white head. Aroma is pale malt, Belgium yeast and lots of tropical fruit. Flavor is sweet pale malt, tropical fruit, hint of honey, floral and distinct Belgium yeast with balanced bitterness. Balanced body and fine aftertaste with fruity bitterness and sweet malt. Enjoyable, it really has the take on the combination Belgium/IPA.

gunnar (9438) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAY 25, 2017
Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat. Shared with Kåre. Pours clear dark golden, small creamy white head. Aroma of fruits, caramel and marmelade. Taste of belgian yeast, some caramel and creamy malts, easy and weak tropical fruits, pineapple, nice and easy to like

3.4
Luvystypotables (2039) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - MAY 21, 2017
The first scent is citrus followed by resin and Belgian yeast. Pours a hazy copper color with a thin lasting white head. Taste is confusing first notes are Belgian yeast and clove followed by a bitter resin hops. A lasting Belgian yeast finish.

hershiser2 (3591) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - MAY 19, 2017
Bottle, Wine Warshouse, $2.10. Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus, gum. Flavor is sweet, almost candied pineapple, yeast, gum, citrus, mango. I like Snake Dog - disagree that they changed the recipe for Snake Dog as the original IPA was one of my favorites, but this one is not wonderful - though a huge step up from breweries such as Boston, Magic Hat, or Du Claw.
