Rating from memory. Pour at the brewery. Donít really remember being overly impressed with this brew. Citrusy hop aroma. Flavor was a little bit sweet but nothing remarkable. Not my favorite from FD. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a towering, not-too-tightly-packed white head.. some lacing followed it down. The aroma picked up dusty cloves, grains of paradise, and dank floral and grapefruity hops over honey, wheat, and other generic pale malts. The flavor found similar stuff.. honey, wheat, and other fairly unusual malts topped by bright spices, fresh hops, and prickly carbonation.. similar components to the nose.. tangy and spicy on the long finish, and the fresh hops worked well there. Medium-ish bodied with way too much carbonation on the palate.. decent balance of stuff in here, but it was far from great. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - MAR 11, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours a lightly hazy deep golden color with a finger of frothy foam. Smell is lightly citric and yeasty, with a hint of funk and sweet spice. Taste of floral hops with some clove and that Belgian funk, followed by a dry biscuitiness and some fruity notes. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Aroma: spicy hops, floral, slight funk
Taste: funk, citrus/floral/lemon hops, tart, grainy
This was a surprise at the tap house. My excitement vanished as soon as I tasted it and found out that this is just a mediocre beer.

Aroma: The nose has some yeast, spice, and a little citrus (lemon, grapefruit)
Appearance: This one pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a small white head
Flavor: It has a pretty good flavor, similar to nose, spicy, with some grass and citrus hops
Palate: It is light-medium bodied, with some fairly heavy carbonation, and a touch of dryness on the finish
I thought this one was pretty solid. I was actually expecting to see the score be a bit higher. I seem to recall a consensus in the room that we all found it to be pretty good.

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy orange with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is citrus, light biscuit malt, barnyard notes, tropical fruits, coriander and black pepper. Flavor is light malt, moderate citrus, light hops and bitterness, spices, farmhouse and a dry finish. Light body, low warmth, medium carbonation. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - OCT 19, 2011
As I write this the rating is very low, but Iím not sure why. I think itís a respectable saison, affordable, sessionable. It may not compare with the best imports, but itís tasty beer. Bubbly, grassy, well balanced, not too sweet, easy to drink. Good shit!
