3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma is of spritzy pumpkin-pie spices... and bubblegum... a lot! The bg is there in the taste too, but it’s more an earthy, boozy, astringent spice beverage. $2/12oz
Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from The Beer Store, Nashua. Appearance is clear, dark orange/ruby red with nice sparkle, finger-width beige head with poor retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is pumpkin pie spices. Taste is pumpkin pie spices, caramel malts. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, average carbonation, pleasant slight warming in the esophagus, finish as taste with slight bitterness at the absolute end. Overall, pretty standard flavor for a pumpkin beer--pumpkin--but alcohol is hidden well and it's not too sweet or over the top. MarcoDL (5467) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 10, 2017
Bottle. Dark amber color. Aroma of spicey pumpkin, malt, vanilla, raisin, cinnamon and ripe fruit. Taste has spicey pumpkin, raisin, cinnamon, ripe fruit, malt, spices and some booze. Spicey malty finish. Nice one. marcotetta (240) - - NOV 26, 2017
Drinked in bottle bb 11.8.18. On the nose spice like ginger, gineper, cinnamon a important alcoholic warmness. In mouth is full bodied, quite carbonated, warm and alcoholic, a interesting smoked and torrified note. The perfect beer for an autumn evening Mesike (21) - ITALY - NOV 26, 2017
Is a marvelous beer, a beautiful dark brown colour with a creamy white head, perfect carbonation in the glass. The aroma is spiced and warm, in mouth is quite creamy but has a caratheristic that personally I don't like : a strong alcoholic flavour. A good autumn beer but not my favorite Maersk (357) - MOLDOVA - NOV 19, 2017
Dark brown, small head, clear. Aroma full of spices. Taste is full of herbs and spices, some medical notes. Bitter finish. Not the best without solid body

Bottle @ home. Dark brown with a medium sized offwhite head. Smells and tastes like the usual pumpkin spices with some added anice and chocolate. Medium body, soft to medium carbo. Mad Dog Martin (142) - - OCT 28, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 28, 2017 Bottle from Bison Beer, right about Hallowe’en! Pours black ‘n’ tan. The aroma is sweet with cinnamon and other spices. Very unusual taste echoes the aroma. Cloves and a very distinctive spice I can’t quite place - possibly nutmeg? jrh2254 (191) - burton-on-trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2017
From a beer hawk mystery case. Pours dark brown with a very thick head. Sweet , sticky , taste of burnt malt and spice. Like a very sweet milled cold wine. Ok but way too sweet for my pallet.

Very good pumpkin ale, the aroma leaves something to be desired, but the final taste is of a real pumpkin ale with all the autumn herbs and spices, like a little halloween cake.
