355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy peachy orange. Nice lacy head. Nose - pungent overripe mango and a slightly fusty yeast note in the background. Taste - peaches with white pepper all wrapped in yoghurt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy and a dry yeasty finish. Overall - not the freshest Wit I’ve had. Quite complex though.

Cloudy lemon-colour with a white head that fades quickly. Very little aroma but perhaps lemon curd. Taste pretty insipid but light sweet and bitter. Average carbonation and creamy texture. Really quite unremarkable if refreshing.

Bottle pour. Clear golden color with decent head. Slight orange aroma. Light body. Starts with small bitter taste and ends with clean orange aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

4oz pour at Jack Rose DC. Pours a hazy straw yellow with some sudsy white head. Nose is super estery, coriander, herbs, white pepper, perfume, dried grass. Flavor is kind of gross, oddly sweet, coriander, heavy Tums, straw, candle wax. Chalky finish.

Light coriander and some bread yeast. Very soft floral aroma, but OK balanceoverall. Light sour and sweet on finish . Bottle

Pours pale straw with a white head that fades quickly to a rim. Aroma is wheat bread, lemon, coriander. Taste follows the aroma but more bready malt, orange peel and a short herbal bitter finish. A bit metallic. Fizzy carbonation. Refreshing and drinkable but I prefer Hoegarden.

Bottle to tulip glass. Pours an opaque gold with white head . Aroma is mostly yeast and citrus zest. Flavor is a bit on the fruity for a Belgian White but went down smooth

McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 2, 2014
Hazy pale straw, golden colour with a white frothy/pillowy head. Noses of bread, cereal, hay, spruce and hints of coriander and linde. Light sweet with a fine herb bitterness. Offers a light fizz, light creamy texture with a medium body. Medium long lasting well balanced finish.

tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Bottle: muddled straw body with a foamy, cloud-like white head that recedes rather slowly & leaves some nice lacing behind. Aroma has notes of wheat, coriander, mild clove, orange peel, & lemon zest. Mild, but refreshing. Taste is a little watery with subtle hints of dry grains & wheat, musky hops, lemon zest, & a faint metallic tone. Finishes with flavors of bready yeast & light spice. Light, not much to it, but still not bad. At 4.8% ABV, it’s poundable.

Draught at The Rover Hazy golden. White head. Spicy herby Weiss-aroma and flavour. Rather sweet. Nice Weiss.
