12 oz single bottle from Total Wine & More - Gilbert, AZ. Clear, deep amber appearance with a lasting tan head. Aroma of fruity esters, caramel malt, light toffee and a touch red wine. Similar flavor, rich, fruity, vinous and sweet with a light spicy bitterness and a lingering finish hinting at Belgian yeast. Medium body with ample carbonation. Solid. hershiser2 (3041) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - NOV 24, 2016
Bottle from total wine. Pours clear light brown with only a dusting of a head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel malts. Taste is black cherries, chocolate malts, caramel, but overwhelming dark fruit, especially cherry. Almost a peanut buttery finish as well. Quite tasty.

Pretty tasty, a bit of the Belgian flavor in the back but not over powering. sawbuck (724) - Round Lake, Illinois, USA - AUG 23, 2016
Aroma of caramel, malts, some toffee, and some raisin. Crystal clear orange brown amber color, large tan head quickly fades. Rich sweet malt, up front. Quite sweet. Notes of toffee, some dark fruits, and a tiny hint of funk from the yeast. Bitterness is dry and even, mutes sweetness nicely. Medium to light mouth feel, slightly watery. Would have liked a little bit more spiciness in the taste on this one. However, it’s a pretty good brew with some banana notes and plenty of toasty, sweet. Overall, it’s good and will leave your mouth sticky sweet. Pumpkin87 (248) - - JUL 16, 2016
Pours from bottle a dark amber with red highlights and a fizzy off-white head that disappears quickly, leaving lace and skim.
Nose is raisin, burnt waffles, candied cherries. The palate follows with a mix of dark fruits, brown sugar, figs, whiffs of clove and coriander, mild yeast, roast malt. All these notes revolve around a caramel core, which carries through a short finish.
Body is light medium with pleasant mouthfeel; carbonation is sprightly without being forceful. The alcohol shows up primarily as a mild warmer.
This isn’t quite Belgian in accomplishment, but it’s a tasty, affordable and easy drinking substitute.

It pours dark amber with ruby hues. It has a light brown head. It has a malty sweet aroma that is rich and complimented by dried cherries and apple aromas. It is malt forward rich with raisins, dried fruit, bits of cherries; that finishes sweet. It has a light-heavy feel to it with low alcohol warmth. Overall the balance it slightly towards the malt with a full range of dark fruit flavors with the raisins being pronounced.
