Loved it, Can't get enough, Blows away any other ESB I've tasted .......... mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - OCT 7, 2003
One of my favorite Brewery's. This beer has a copper color and has a amber head. Very good. Its malty and hoppy, but well balanced between the both. It is a pleasant beer to drink. dthmtldgn (32) - barrington, New Jersey, USA - JUL 30, 2004
a very drinkable beer, despite its bitterness. i am beginning to really like this brewery, everything they put out has not only been very drinkable, but very tasteful and pleasant. slimjim (106) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 28, 2003
a sweet feeling esb. Hopps very noticible but with a sweet undertone. golden amber, bone head. A very tasty sweet ESB. I love it. tallmatt67 (99) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 5, 2003
(bottled). Reddish copper color and brilliantly clear. Caramelly aroma with the faintest hint of roasted or chocolate malt and a light floral hoppiness. Lots of malt leads the attack on this medium-bodied gem, fruity esters and hop flavors accompany the assertive bitterness that balances the malt perfectly. The finish is smooth and lingers elegantly.

An amber ale that pours with a nice head. This beer looks good in a glass. Some malt on the nose. You can feel some body in. Taste wise it starts out with a nice malt flavor which is quickly balanced by hop bitterness, but it is not overly so. This is a very good beer. A rather unusually caramel-tasting bitter, but quite good................... MaiBockAddict (1497) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - SEP 4, 2003
Very good Hop/Malt balance. Nicely caramelized malt flavor. Very fresh hop flavor. Aroma not very strong, but clean. Good head retention. One of the best domestic ESB examples available. delacerveza (166) - Florida, USA - OCT 12, 2001
i was expecting to hate this beer because i am nowhere near hop-head status. Nate (4296) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 6, 2002
i was pleasantly surprised. granted, if the beer is supposed to be quite bitter then it would be a disappointment.
dark golden--almost reddish, in color. creamily frothed head, sort of a vanilla/apple aroma and flavor. only a slight bitter aftertaste. i quite liked this beer.
On draught. Fruity hops and sugary malt aroma, apple cider. Thin veil of head, laced, off-white on tan-amber clear liquid. Light medium carb, silky, medium body. Nice balance of malt sweetness and bitter hops. Mild bitter/nutty after like an alt. A little milder than most bitters but very enjoyable. Even my wife like it.
