I just got back from a freezing cold off-road bike ride to find that my neighbor Adam dropped off a glass of this for me. Sweet!! Blackish brown body, light brown thin creamy head. aroma of deep roasted chocolate malt, light coffee, and m&m candy. lively carbonation, flavor is a little tangy and grassy with roasted coffee and chocolate malt. some mild toffee flavor and then a mild bitter hop finish. aftertaste is warming chocolate malt. very good. Thanks Adam!
Draft pour, jet black with a nice slim tan head, nose is roasted malts, bit of vanilla, not getting much of that oyster addition till later on, overall the mouthfeel is smooth, yet robust, leaves a lingering bitterness, not bad, happy to have a go on draft gripweed57 (2866) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 19, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Opaque black color topped by a small bubbly tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and charcoal. Flavor is smooth and creamy with roasted malt, chocolate, brine and seaweed. Rich and flavorful with an ashey, fruity dark malt character. Quite good. MacNJ (108) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 8, 2017
Hey, Casey and Drew! What a creation (and BTW, it was great working with you during the summer seasons). The nose is roasty coffee; poured into a Guinness pint glass - traditional black hue with a diminished head). The masterpiece is in its mouthfeel; it’s creamy, weighty, and smooth...almost like a chocolate and coffee milkshake. Solid stout, and it’s from New Jersey. Got a problem with that? Cheers!

Pours black with brown head. A chocolate and roasted malt aroma. A creamy body with flavors of chocolate, malts, caramel, coffee and grains. A lingering dry grain and coffee aftertaste. Larry_Duffman (600) - - JAN 1, 2017
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2017 I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours black with a tan head and lacing. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, and earthiness. The taste is chocolate, coffee, smoke, and a subtle, salty earthiness. It?s a nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. This is good.

Bottle. Pour oily black with large spongy tan head, faint mocha aroma, high carbonation, lightly bitter mocha taste with alcohol undertones, faint mineral flavor, thick body, long mocha finish. The occasionally felt mineral taste reminded me of my childhood vitamin drops. DandyWolfFloyd (1212) - Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2016
